Name: Peaches and Puff

Briquettes: 10 bottom - 16 top
Serves:

Ingredients:
4 Cups  Fresh Sliced Peaches
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 teaspoon  Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 Cup Lemon juice
4 Tablespoons Melted Butter
1 Tablespoon Flour
Step 1:  Instructions for above ingredients:  
Place fresh sliced peaches in the bottom of a 12" Dutch Oven.  Sprinkle with the mixture of sugar cinnamon and nutmeg.  Pour lemon juice oven fruit mixture.  Mix together melted butter and flour and pour over fruit mixture.
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Step 2:  Instructions for above ingredients
In a separate bowl mix all the above ingredients and set aside.
4 Egg Yokes (save whites for later)
2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
1/2 Cup Milk
Step 3:  Instructions for above ingredients
In a small bowl beat together the egg yokes, melted butter and milk.  Add to flour mixture in Step 2 and beat until well blended.  Spoon over the fruit mixture in Step 1.  Bake with 10 briquettes on the bottom and 16 briquettes on the top until done, or approximately 30 minutes.
4 Egg Whites from above
1/2 teaspoon  Vanilla
1/4 teaspoon  Cream of Tartar
8 Tablespoons Sugar
Step 4: Instructions for above ingredients
In a bowl combine egg whites saved from above, vanilla and cream of tartar.  Beat until frothy.  Gradually add sugar.  Beat until stiff peaks are formed.  Spread meringue over top of mixture already in Dutch Oven.  Bake an additional 10-15 minutes.  Serve hot.

Serving Suggestions:

Great served with vanilla ice cream.
